Create A SMARTBoard Koosh Ball Game Part 2
Playing a Koosh Ball game is a great way to review material before a test, practice math strategies, or even review oral language skills. Let’s face it all kids, no matter what age, love to throw a Koosh Ball at the SMARTBoard. However it can waist class time if every throw is not productive.
In this session you will learn how to make a fun Koosh Ball game that goes along with your class theme and every throw will hit an active link on the SMARTBoard.
A few of the skills teachers will leave with are:
creating a theme on the SMARTBoard
making links
setting picture transparency
So come with a topic in mind to create some Koosh Ball fun.

Teaching With Smartboard
This Video Podcast explores SMARTBoard teaching techniques to 6-12 Math Teachers. Each episode lasts from 10-20 minutes. Their emphasis and purpose is to create lessons that are engaging for students. The lessons They will present will focus on getting students up to the smartboard and out of their desks. They will be covering template lessons that the viewer will be able to download off their website. Although They will be focusing on Math topics, most lessons can be applied to any subject. Dave Sladkey is a high school math teacher and Scott Miller is the Instructional Coordinator for the Math Department at Naperville Central High School in Naperville Illinois just west of Chicago. Both have been using the Smartboard since 2004. They have presented numerous times at Smartboard workshops at the school, district, state, and national level.
